Simon Hurey is a Manager in our Outsourcing Services group with nearly 20 years of experience providing accounting and financial management support to a diverse range of clients. His expertise includes financial statement preparation, accounts payable and receivable management, credit and bank reconciliations, month-end close processes, cash flow analysis, invoice processing, payroll administration, budgeting, and general ledger maintenance. Throughout his career, Simon has demonstrated a strong ability to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously while ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and high-quality financial reporting.

Prior to joining Rogers & Company, Simon spent more than 17 years with a public accounting firm where he managed client relationships across a variety of industries, supervised and mentored staff accountants, coordinated monthly close procedures, supported audits, and provided clients with reliable financial information to support decision making. He is recognized for his collaborative leadership style, attention to detail, and commitment to improving processes and maintaining operational efficiency.

Simon specializes in supporting organizations with day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, reconciliations, payroll processing, and cash management. He works closely with clients to ensure their accounting functions operate smoothly and efficiently, while also helping clients strengthen internal processes and meet reporting deadlines. His ability to balance technical accounting knowledge with responsive client service makes him a valued member of the firm’s Outsourcing Services practice.

Simon holds a Master of Science in Accounting from Liberty University and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Norfolk State University.
